___________________________________
AT – IN – ON (em).
Exemplo:

->Jim was standing at the bus stop (Jim estava parado no ponto de ônibus).
->At that time… (Naquele tempo…).
->We must be at the airport by 9 o’clock. (Nós estaremos no aeroporto pelas 9 horas).
->We live at 735, Main Street (Nós moramos na Rua Main, número 735).
___________________________________
- IN é usado quando nos referimos à REGIÃO GEOGRÁFICA, ESTAÇÃO DO ANO, ANOS, MESES, PARTES DO DIA (exceto “night”). Geralmente IN indica ideia de “dentro de”. Exemplo:

->Porto Alegre is in the South of Brazil (Porto Alegre está no Sul do Brasil).
->In (the) summer, in (the) winter... (No verão, no inverno…).
->In May, in November, in 2010… (em maio, em novembro, em 2010…).
->In the morning, in the evening… (de manhã, à noite…).

->There’s a cat in the room (Há um gato na sala).
->There’s a mouse in the box. (Há um rato na caixa).
___________________________________
Exemplo:

->Saint Patrick’s Cathedral, in New York, is on 5th Avenue (Catedral de São Patrick, em Nova Iorque, na Avenida 5th).
->On May 1st, on April 2nd…
->On Monday, on Tuesday... (Na segunda-feira, na terça-feira...).

->There’s a cat on the table (Há um gato na mesa).
->There are lots of oranges on those trees (Há muitas laranjas naquelas árvores).
